  1. M Chamney says:

it would be so nice to give to my friends, they have 7 people living in the house and could really use this

    • Heather kellems says:

      Love it

    • Like to due my family it has been hard due to alot of family problems plus with eight of us living all together. Trying to pay the everyday bills just to keep a roof over our heads let along be able to supply any thing extra like gifts for birthdays , holidays etc. Also trying to put food in the house for all of us. My oldest is 30 he and his wife and the two grandbabies live with me because of some issues when the first baby was born who is now 4 and the second one is two even though they both work and help out some it is still hard to be able to supply for everyone . And my second child is 22 & the other is 19 and my 19 has problems ever since she was little she has asperger diorder along with bipolar etc. and me has Mom been on disability due to having my neck fused together three yrs. ago and only get one check a month even though my husband gets one every week just to pay the everyday things it is hard here .

    • melissa says:

I LOST MY JOB IN JULY AND MY UNEMPLOYMENT JUST RAN OUT YESTERDAY GO FIGURE!! I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’M GONNA DO ABOUT CHRISTMAS OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER!! I THINK IT’S GREAT WHAT YOUR DOING TO HELP FAMILIES IN NEED AND IF I WASN’T STRUGGLING MYSELF I WOULD NOMINATE SOMEONE ELSE!! MY DAUGHTER IS THE ONLY ONE WORKING RIGHT NOW SHE’S 22 BUT SHE DOESN’T MAKE MUCH AT ALL AND IT’S ALWAYS BEEN JUST HER AND I AND I FEEL SO BAD !!! I JUST WOULD LIKE HER TO AT LEAST HAVE A NICE CHRISTMAS AT LEAST

  2. we are a family of 4 trying to survive on one income,my husband trys hard to do everything,i dont work i have fybromyligia and it takes forever to get disability, i missed the deadlines for social services so this maybe the only chance the kids get for christmas this year

    • Patricia Wright says:

You may have to get a lawyer to get your disability. The social. Security drags it out for years. A lawyer can help and get you back pay too. My cousin had what you have and got a lawyer and got her back pay.

    • kelly fogler says:

I have a friend that works for social security. The worst thing you can do is get a lawyer. They don’t do anything but they get a chunk of your money. All you have to do is contact the congressman for your area. They will personally get back to you within a week, send you papers to sign so they can look into your case and you will be approved usually in 2 weeks to a month. It may take another month or 2 to get your money but you will get back pay from when your first application papers were processed. Hope this helps. Happy Holidays

      • Susan says:

        Our Congressmen do nothing.

I got denied. So we had to get an attorney. I have a covered condition.

The advocates said we need the attorney.

  3. stefania cunningham says:

I’d like to nominate my family. We are a family of 3, mom, dad and 3 kids ages 7, 13 and 17. I was injured at work in August and was denied workers comp, had back surgery in Sept and was let go in November. We’ve had to borrow money to keep our rent current for the past 3 months. We aren’t able to spend any money on Christmas gifts and could really use this help!

    • Patricia Wright says:

I think you should get a good lawyer for the work injury. My husband got hurt at work and had to have 2 surgery. It took 2 years but he finally got a settlement. Most lawyers don’t get paid until you get paid.

  4. carol roberts says:

there are two a fourteen and her father who is like i think 42 he was hurt recentyly and he hurt his back and he lost his job due to he couldnt keep doing body work i nomitae them they need this cause im sure she isnt going to have a good christmas

  5. Regina Sullivan says:

We are a family of 5….my kids are ages 18, 15, and 5…we work really hard and try to save, but something is always coming up to take the extra we save. Now we have really hit a huge obstacle, just today I didn’t have money for groceries let alone anything to put toward Christmas. I don’t really want anything for myself, but my kids are asking if I have bought them presents yet…..I don’t have an answer and I just can’t tell them that we just don’t have it this year…

  6. this year is really slim my husband and i are on social security we have our daughter and grandaughter living with us the dr has not let our daughter work in 2 years and she gets no child supporte now our son has lost his job due to having hernia surgery and has had to move in we dont mind helping our children and granchildren but its very hard

  7. Tammy says:

I could really use the help, we have been homeless trying to get back on our feet, and basically have nothing. I have no family to help us they are all deceased. We have no Christmas tree… Nor anything to put on it…Not trying to be greedy but we have no where to turn we qualify for nothing, my husband does work..Thank YOU

  8. I actually do know of a family who could really use some help this holiday season. She is my best friend and they live in Colorado. Her husband is working through a temp agency and they barely have enough money to make their rent, let alone Christmas for her 10 year old son. She has applied and applied for job after job with no luck. I wish I could do more for her and her family, but I live in Washington state or we would absolutely have them just move in with us so they could get back on their feet again. Her little boy knows somewhat about their financial situation and he internalizes a lot of the stress and so he gets sick a lot. She had to have surgery a while back to remove a tumor out of her throat and her poor husband works himself to death to just provide rent money each money and they aren’t always successful at that. We’ve sent them all the money we can spare and if I could win this contest for them, that would just be the most awesome thing ever.

  9. casey says:

this is a family of 4,mom,dad 3 yr old little girl and boy will be 1 on december 13th.this family can barly afford to put food on the table, its sad the dad is only home on saturdays because he is a truck driver and hasnt been getting hardly any miles after health insurance and taxes come out of his check he dont even have enough to pay the bills and pay for the wifes medications that she needs due to health issues.the wife and kids live off 2 pounds of ground beef and whatever is in the cabinets each week.i can go on but im not, they really need this, this family wont be having christmas dinner and these babies wont be opening any gifts on christmas, they dont have anything but yet the mother of these babies spends all her time collecting personal hygiene items that are donated to fill shoeboxes then donates all the shoeboxes to the jesus mission in time for christmas for the homeless, good luck everyone

  10. Diane says:

This would help my daughter out a lot. She is a single mom with 2 teen age girls.
My husband and I help as much as we can by letting her and the girls live with us. My daughter does in home care but only works 24 hours a week, She has tried to find another client , no luck so far. Christmas is going to be rough this year. Winning this would help her…

  11. Lisa Paone says:

    Family of 2 – senior citizen/unemployed.

  12. deanna boyd says:

the family is a family of 4, dad, mom, a 4yr old boy and a 16 yr old girl. the dad has been working only sporadically as the company he works for is working him 2 weeks off and a week on since october. the family is on the verge of losing everything.
winning this will be the only way that they will have Christmas for their children this year.

  13. charlene says:

My daughter and her 2 sons who are only 3 and 4. They are having a little bit of financila troubles at this time and it would be great for the kids to have good gifts

  14. mary nichols says:

please check on the link i have a wish on this page, i have 2 great kids they are grown and my daughter is expecting a boy in march , i also have a great and beautiful grandaughter she is 6 yrs old, i am in tears as i write this because i feel so horrible, i recieve ssi, and my son recieves public assistance, its not much and we are behind in some bills, we dont have anything for christmas this year.. i feel terrible to have to have my grandaughter not have anything for christmas, she is such a sweet heart and i am so depressed, it would be such a blessing if we could have something for christmas.. praying that we will be chosen for this great giveaway for the christmas season..

  15. Bernadette Murray says:

family of 5 mom dad and 3 boys. This has been a very tough year and could really bring some much needed joy and food.

  16. Shelly Perkowski says:

My mom and dad just found out their income is dropping significantly and they are already having a difficult time getting by. Currently my younger brother and both my parents live at the house. They also have a girl living with them. They are constantly reaching out and helping others in any way they can. This Christmas, my husband and I want to bless them in many ways!
Ever since my mom’s kidney transplant years ago (my dad gave her one of his kidneys), she has a lack of energy which permits her to be able to work enough to suffice.
Regardless if they win, please keep them in your prayers!

  17. wanda jewell says:

There are many people on this list ahead of me who need help. My heart goes out to them, especially those with children. It has been financially a rough year for many people and ours is no less….however we do not have children and so the pain of waking up to no presents under the tree can be easily handled between us. He will cook for me and I will continue to wash his clothes :) We’re good like that!

I do know personally of a few people who have children and nothing to speak of as far as material possessions. These folks work, are happy with the little place they can afford to rent that has no heating or airconditioning. And then, there is an elderly couple with a wife who is blind and had a heart attack a couple of months ago. Yes I could help some family, if chosen.

  18. mary nichols says:

    http://www.wishuponahero.com/wishes/?id=1353795

my family and i will not be opening presents this year.. all my money went for bills, i have nothing left :( we have been struggling for so long and its terrible to have to explain to my 6 yr old Grandaughter that she wont be opening presents.. we have nothing for her this yr.. nothing at all, if some heroes could help with gift cards to Walmart or target so we could get her some gifts under the tree, it would mean so much!!.. i haven’t said anything to her yet, because i am hopeful we can get some help, Christmas is right around the corner and coming quick.. any and all help would be appreciated.. thank you

  19. krissy Daniels says:

My grandmother has always been there and supported me now she is in need and i have no way to help…She is a dialysis patient. Always in extreme pain and always sick…I dont know if this could be her last Christmas. She is in need of groceries and basic household things such as toliet paper, shampoo, detergent. Her bank account is in the negative going into this holiday season. I hate to see her this way esp. knowing i really cant help but give my love. Thanks for the chance to win.

  20. Heather Pfingsten says:

I know a family that has four children… they are always just scraping by and sometimes not even that. All of the kids are under the age of 12… we bought them a Christmas tree this year and a few presents but… this would be a life saver for them.

Thank you for all that you do!

  21. I know of a lady who is 45 years old and disabled.
Her only sibling …her sister committed suicide in front of her last May.
Now my friend is raising the other sister’s son who is 6.
He walked in and saw his dead Mother.
He has been quite traumatized by this.
I want to help them so much.
But I live on social security and do good to eat.
Please help me to help them!
God Bless you for considering my plea.

  22. Allyson Hunter says:

There are 6 people in the home struggling to pay bills and put food on the table. Christmas isn’t happening this year unless a miracle happens. With 3 adults (one who was laid off, has many health issues and no insurance), a teenager, an 8 year old and a 6 year old, just trying to make the mortgage this month is difficult. There are no extras and it’s hard to imagine Christmas without at least one gift for each of the children. I know times are tough for a lot of people, I truly feel their pain and anguish since the family I am writing about is mine…

  23. Heather Ernest says:

I would use this money to help someone close. They recently had to file bankruptcy and life had been handling them lemon after lemon…nothing seems to be going their way. I don’t want to get into too much detail here because she is a fan… just… I pray for any help they can receive.

    Thank you for your kidness.

  24. Jennifer Sizemore says:

We are a family of 7 and for the last 4 years we have dressed up as santa and invited the community over to recieve gifts and crafts and cookies while seeing santa and this year, I have lost my job and we arent able to help anyone, not even my own kiddos. My 6 year old ask when are we putting up our tree, to be honest I am not even sure if we are going to be here in two weeks not a lone buy Christmas for my 13 and 6 year old. Life has not been to good the last few yew years and last year was a very bad Christmas as well. Winning this would give my little one the happiness she needs.

  38. marcia g says:

We both need clothes since i never get new stuff for me . and he needing new ones too being he growing so fast too.. also soccer cleats too. its hard being that things cost alot more since he in mens sizes

  39. Jackie Brewer says:

Wow! I at first couldn’t decide who to ask for help for, myself or my best friend. We both have our families, she is a family of 5, I am a family of 3 and each household is living on one income and are literally depending on winning contest to provide gifts for our families. I have read alot of these posts and although we both struggle and barely get by, I realize that there is always someone out there worse off than myself or my friend for that matter. I pray that each person on here is able to fill their needs this season and that their families have a joyous Christmas and depend on God to get you each through. God Bless!!!

  40. Annette Aben says:

2 sisters working hard to keep the family home together after their mother died. One sister has a 17year old, a 5 year old and a 6 month old and it looks like there will be nothing for those younguns under the tree this year, perhaps a small food treat.

  41. Elizabeth Beach says:

I would nominate my aunt for this. Her father(my grandfather) passed away in September, and her mother(my grandmother) passed away the year before, almost to the day. My aunt is an older lady, no income since she was taking care of my grandparents full time. It would be a nice gift for her, and it would let her know that we’ve really appreciated everything that she’s done for the family.

  42. maisie says:

This would be great i know a family that could really use the help this year!

  43. Renae Rue says:

My sister’s job is relocating to Texas and she has been trying desperately to find a new place to work but times are hard and no one is hiring. Her and her husband have three girls.

  44. Robin Quick says:

Family of 3 really needs help with Christmas. Mother, Father and an almost 15 year old boy. They have just moved back into their home after repairing it from tornado damage that occurred in April 2011. They didn’t have the money to fix their home so they lived with relatives while trying to scrape money up to fix the home. This has left them struggling terribly just to put food on the table. They wont have a Christmas without some help. Their power & water are in danger of being turned off at any time. They really need help.

  45. barbara remaly hart says:

My husband & I have been raising our grand daugther, my younger son was diagnosed with Kleinfelters syndrome, My daugther & fiance are now living with us, they were homeless with no car even. It has been a real trying time for us, but the Lord still provides & we have faith that he will keep us close to his heart. I know there are others worse off & I pray for all those going through difficult times right now, but Believe & have faith that God will substain you & never leave you. Merry Christmas to all!! & remember the true reason for the season!! Jesus Christ <3

  46. amy bavier bartley says:

  47. beverly isaacs says:

my family is in need this year. my husband has been diagnosed and has to miss a lot of work because of breathing problems. he has been going to doctor and hospital for treatments for 6 months now. we have to take everything he make to psy our bills snd put food on the table. we could use this to provide a great xmas for me and my husband and our son who lives with us. without help we will have no xmas this year . it has been so long since we have had a nice xmas. we will have to face another lonely xmas this year without our oldest son shawn who died of kidney failure in december of 2004. this would really help to make a nice xmas for us and be able to get flowers to put on our son’s grave too this year.

  48. Nina says:

There is 2 of us and this year has been difficult. My husband did get a job but he is finally catching up with the rent.Good thing we have a very good landlord.

  49. Gail says:

I know a lot of people that could use the holiday but I would selfishly nominate my family. Nothing for me but my kids as of now are not having a Christmas. I just lost my job and am facing surgery so it is hard finding work that will allow the days I need off. My husband is working over time but that barely covers our bills as it is. Our oldest is almost 3 and the youngest just recently turned 1.
Congrats to who ever wins the contest! <3

  50. sherry says:

i am voting for me cause i have one friend that is that truth 3 have passed on one is left and she is struggling just as bad..i have a storage unit that i am paying monthly have been for two yrs bexcause i can not afford to get it out of state…we have one income which we are grateful for..but with our old van 1991 it costs about 50..00 in gas we moved here almost two yrs ago just bought a house the reason it was chaepwer than a apt cheaper than most peoples mortgages but the catch it is a fixer upper this house was built uin 1926 and abandon for at least 2 yrs so it needs work and we are doing all this on one income and ican prove all i said by receipts etc so any help would be appreciatedand 300 dollars would help i could do christmas on that so hoping thank you

  51. Desiree says:

We are a family of 5, with one more one the way. My husband is the only one working in our house, and we always are unable to get much for our children for Christmas. With this we would be able to get presents for the other people in our family that we have this year to get for, while being able to get our own children something special.

  52. Sherry Spruill Young says:

Family of 4 with a disabled 8 year old and a 17 year old, both girls. Only dad can work, mom homeschools the little because she is so sensory sensitive. Struggling very hard.

  53. jamie lafever says:

there is 6 of them. mom and dad grandpa and 18 yr old girl 15 yr old boy and 8 yr old girl. the dad got hurt at work and has had surgery and maybe looking at another surgery soon. the mom cant work because she is taking care of the dad and her father. her father had to move in because he is paralized on one side and has to have help. there is only the grandpas check for income and it all goes out for the bills. the mom and dad both are upset about christmas for the kids. that is all they are worried about getting. just the 18 yr old 15 yr old and 8 yr old. would be nice for this family to have a great christmas. this is a family who will help anyone if they can. they will give u the clothes off thier back. this family needs help this year. last year they had money when the dad was working and they did a few kids off an angel tree. now thier kids should be on an angel tree somewhere. thank you

  54. Stephanie G says:

I know a family of three, plus her mother and brother with whom she lives. She is a single mom with two pre-teen girls. She hasn’t worked in a few years. She’s a very giving person. She’d do anything for her girls. I know it’s a struggle and a frustration for her that she doesn’t have money.
I would love to see her win.

  59. Marie H says:

This no something I would normally do but my husband broke his ankle at work on November 30th . We are hard working and have always supported our family. Our children 16, 15, 10 and 9 say that they understand that there may not be anything under the tree. Every year we try to get them everything we can at Christmas. This year we just aren’t going to be able to do it. My income is just enough to pay the bills. We don’t have anyone to rely on to help us. I have checked into programs but I have been told we would have had to sign up in November. Please pick my family we need a blessing. Thanks.

  60. Heidi V. says:

I’m nominating my own family I have lost my job and I have no income I keep my hardship to myself so that I don’t have to upset my family and friends but I have two great kids who never complain about what they don’t have or what they want.

  61. Amanda C says:

  64. Suzanne Deleon says:

I would like to nominate my family. My 12 year old son has Autism, my husband and I. We have had a difficult year, as many in our nation have also had. I am legally blind and have fibromyalgia, so I am unable to work. My husband was severely hurt at work earlier in the year, and just had his second back surgery this past August and is unable to work and waiting to hear from SS Disability, which they have already denied him once. So we are currently surviving on the small amount I receive in disability benefits and the Social Security my son receives. I am not complaining because I know we are blessed! I just want to make this a wonderful Christmas for my son. Even though he is 12, he still believes in Santa Claus! And I so don’t want him to be disappointed. He loves music! Most times when he is upset, it is the only thing that will console him. He has asked for one present and one present only, an iPod Touch, which is just way out of our limited budget! My husband and I don’t want anything for ourselves, only to see his happy face Christmas morning! Thank you and God Bless You for your generosity! I truly appreciate this opportunity and Wish You and Yours a Very Blessed and Merry Christmas!!!

  65. Leah Morgan says:

My family is struggling right now, my husband works very hard to provide but it just doesn’t seem to be enough. We have two teenagers, 18 girl and 14 boy plus my niece living at home. My niece also has 2 girls, a 3 year old and 5 year old that is handicapped. Winning this would help me to get a tree and some presents for my family. Thank you for the chance to win!

  66. Wendy McBride says:

I want to nominate my family also. My husband passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on June 14th. Our whole world fell apart that day. He didn’t have Life Insurance and now all I have left is my small paycheck. Our four children are young adults and three of them live with me. They are doing small jobs that come open to help until they can find more permanent work. This would help us to have a Christmas this year.

  71. Michelle says:

There re so many families that I would love to nominate for this giveaway but I know it cn only be one. This is a time that everyone could use a little bit of help. I would like to nominate the Russ family. I have been friends with the mother since we were little kids (we re now adults with families of our own) This family has seen alot of heartache and heartbreak this year. Dad was laid off from work and picks up odd and end jobs here and there. Mom is a public nurse. They ave 3 children all still in school. Mom just saved an elderly lady and 2 teens from a house fire not once putting herself first. You can see her on news12.com under hudsonvalley. She is truly amazing. They lost their house and had to move into a smaller house and at times haave a hard time paying bills and putting food on the table. I know everyone is strugging but I truly believe in my heart this family deserves this. Thank you for this amazing opertunity.

  72. Heather Reid says:

This is just 1 person; she’s on unemployment, barely making $400/month, close to losing her house if she can’t come up with some extra $$$ somehow. Her truck keeps on having issues, so ev’ry time she thinks she has $$$, she has to pour it into fixing her truck. This has just been an overall hard year for her; she lost her g’ma on Halloween, & that was the rock that held her family (parents, siblings) together!!!

  73. Heather Reid says:

I always have problems with the Boost thing; it doesn’t matter where I click, nothing happens. :( Maybe someone can explain what I’m doing wrong & email or message me?!?!I click the orange B, I try clicking the #, I click the word Boost, still nothing. :(

  74. michelle gilliland mcafee says:

The family I’d nominate is a single mother whith 3 boys. The oldest boy just had a baby and the mother and baby live in the home also. The family lost another boy (the youngest) in a car accident a few years ago and Christmas is a hard time for them anyway so this would really help.

  75. Cathy Alger says:

A family of 5, A grandmother, her daughter, and 3grandsons..The only income they recieve right now is disability for the grandmother and a lil child support.
The children are 9,3 and 6months

  76. Angie baldridge says:

  77. Brittany Coursey says:

I know a family of 4 that really needs this! They are on a limited income, the mother only works. The father has been out of work for over a year due to medical conditions. This is the 2nd time I will be helping this family out for Christmas with food, toys, and nessesitys. Thanks for the giveaway!

  79. Aimee says:

Family of 6. Mother is working to provide for family. Father and mother are full time students. They have had a difficult time feeding themselves (especially the last 2 weeks of the month) in between food stamps because their older two sons have been eating more than usual, growth spurts maybe. After paying usual bills, heat, electric, rent and putting gas in the single car they own they have $4 left over each month. That’s $1 a week. The dad has been applying to every job, including McDonald’s, since his previous job moved over seas 2 years ago. Last year each of their children got a stocking with candy, and one small toy along with gloves and sock hats for Christmas. Would be wonderful to give them a nice Christmas.

  80. Jean Burroughs says:

Hi! My name is Jean Burroughs. I would like to nominate my own family. I am 43 years old. I am married, the mother of three kids. My oldest son, Derek is 21 years old. He has autism. My middle son, Tyler is 18 years old and my daughter, Amber is 11 years old. Over the past five years, my husband (with a bachelor degree in Engineering) was laid off (due to the economy) twice. The school district I worked for eliminated my position as a special education associate. I am currently finishing my nursing degree. Even though I have three children, one with special needs, I have been on the President’s list or Dean’s list every term. I have a GPA of 3.6! I could really use this for my family and children! Thank you very much!

  81. Ashley Schein says:

The family I would like to enter this for is a family of 3. A grandma that had to take in her 2 granddaughters. Now ages 1 and 3. She has been off owrk sick most of the year and was finally able to get a job for a few weeks only to be told she was being laid off. Now the money she was hoping to use for Christmas has to be put back for bills so they have a place to live. I would love to see them be able to have some kind of Christmas.

  82. terri carney says:

first i’d like to say merry christmas to everyone, i dont want to seem selfish or greedy but i nominate my family, we are a family of 4 my hubby is the only income and i was unemployed as of a year ago this week, my older brother lives with us, he is vision impaired, my daughter still lives at home and just had a 20k kidney surgery, times are so very hard for everyone anymore, in the last few years i have learned to accept my life being very limited, as far as things i would like to buy or get for my family. i dont mean this to sound like whinning, but in our home wer just greatful to have food in the fridge, it gets hard alot around here, i no many many more know exzactly what im talking about, sad thing is im 46 and theres not alot out there for me as far as work is concerned, i finaly relized id like a career, lol yeah kinda late for that, ive spent the last 14 years working in mom and pop stores so not alot of training there, but im truely greatful for everything we have, as far as my heart goes, im the richest person i know because of god, family, love, but it be nice to give my family a joyful christmas this year, i doubt it will happen and if it doesnt its ok, my family dont exspect much, we never real have, but we as a family get and have everthing,

  83. ginger johnson says:

i would like to nominate my niece Heather. She is one of the kindest and thoughtful person but she could really use some help. She has 4 boys ages 3 months -7yrs. and she lost her only daughter. Her husband had lost his job, there only car broke down (which she needs for dr appts and grocery shopping). This help would be appreciated to help give the boys a nice christmas with clothes, shoes and toys..

  84. Holly Domer says:

I would love to win this for a Christmas family i am trying to help, they loat there home to a fire Oct 1st and slowly rebuilding.. There are 8 people in the family..6 of them children from ages 3 to 15. This would be so awesome for them!

  85. Michelle says:

I’d like to nominate my own family. My husband and I both lost our jobs this year and this gift would help go so far!

  86. Taryn Pasco says:

I nominate a family with a stay at home mom who is currently pregnant . Her husband is the only one working and they have a daughter that turns 2 years old December 23rd. I know they can really use this because they are unable to afford a trip home for the Holidays as they only have 1 vehicle and it is not that great plus the husband relies on it for work so they can’t take any chances. With Christmas, their daughters Birthday and a new baby coming in February their budget is very tight! I know it is going to be hard on them being away from all their loved ones this year and staying home.

  87. Janine Ann La Page Martinez says:

The family I am nominating is a family of four. The past three years have been *very* hard for them. Their daughter was diagnosed with a very rare disease called HLH. She had to undergo many rounds of chemotherapy and two bone marrow transplants. luckily, the second transplant seems to have worked and you can hardly tell that this precious little girl spent over a year straight in various hospitals. Both children have had to grow up *way too fast* dealing with this health crisis. In addition, during this process, the family had to sell their house in California (at a loss), are renting a house in Ohio to be close to Cincinnati’s Children’s Hospital, the mother lost her job, the father transferred, but has to commute to Chicago, they maxed out their lifetime health insurance and had to apply for Medicare to avoid bankruptcy. It would mean the world to me to give the gift to this family. They are my hope and inspiration and I love them dearly!

  88. hazel w. says:

my heart goes out to all who have nominated either their own families or another family in need. It is hard for so many people this time of year and I am so thankful that a contest like this can really help at least one family have a good Christmas! God bless you for such a touching giveaway and for reaching a hand forward during these desperate times! Not nominating anyone as there is enough need already present, but my heart was compelled to say thanks to the blog owner for this wonderful gift!

  89. Jo Tetherow says:

i would donate this to the Gathering Place, a local food kitchen that helps many of the chronically homeless and those who need food assistance in the area. they are compasionate and amazing in what they do.

  90. Dannan Beltran says:

I would like to nominate my family. We are a family of 5. I have 3 daughters and 1 son. My son has a sensory processing disorder and the doctors think he is having seizures or he has a bad heart. They are still running various tests to see what is wrong with him. He is the baby in the family.

I would love to be able to give my children a wonderful christmas. As of right now they are getting little to nothing.

  91. stephanie bryant says:

because this family is struggling and they could use the extra money to help their kids have awonderful christmaas and a nice holiday meal

  92. Ed says:

I am nominating my daughter and son-in-law. Hard times have come upon them due to a leg injury my daughter experienced, and with every weekly treatment, comes a very high price tag. They have much medical debt right now, and really need something to lift their spirits. Thank you.

  93. Carrie Funk says:

First off let me start by saying Thank You for this wonderful opportunity….I would like to nominate my own family we r a family of three our 13yr old daughter, myself and her father the love of my life…My other half was found to be disabled 3 years ago and I have always been a stay at home mom, so with only his SSD coming in, we have a very tight budget…And our daughter being the amazing wonderful person she is came to me just a very few days ago and says “Mom I know you and daddy cant afford Christmas this year and I am ok with it, I have all I need right here and there will be plenty of time for me to have what I want in the future…” It brought tears to my eyes but made me feel so good to have a such a understanding caring and wonderful young lady in my life…So this would be a god sent for me to be able to give her what she deserves…Once again THANK YOU!!!!

  94. Judy says:

Hello! I would like to nominate my daughter and her huband for this wonderful giveaway. They have been through a lot this past year, and this giveaway would really be a pick-me-up for them. My daughter had a freak pedicure incident, and has been paying (litterally) for it since last June. Her medical bills have depleted their savings account, yet they continue to pile up. My husband and I try to help where we can, but we’re just not able to do much at this point. Please consider my daugther and her husband for this wonderful opportunity. Thank you very much & Merry Christmas!

  95. Amy M says:

I like the rest am nominating my own family. We have been struggling so much this year, currently our furnace needs to be replaced it only works part of the time. We wake up sometimes and our furnace has shut off and has to be reset. My husband might get a small bonus this year but all of those funds will goto the furnace. That wont leave any funds for the kids. We have 3, boy 15, girl 12, girl 5. Please pick us to help it would make a world of difference to all of us. Thank you.

  96. Beth M. says:

I also am nominating my own family. I am the sole provider for my daughter. We live paycheck to paycheck. It would be a huge relief to win this prize. Thank You.

  97. Amanda Phillips says:

I do know of a family that needs help. The mother doesn’t have a vehicle and lives in a town with no public transit so she has no way of getting a job (or even shopping for groceries without help). The little boy is five and almost all of the toys he has are years old and broken because they came from dollar stores. She has no way of buying him anything for Christmas, and honestly, hasn’t bought herself anything in years.

  98. sonya Vasile says:

I would like to nominate my family in TN. There is my mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, and my niece. They are having a hard time just like us. My mom works two jobs and takes care of my grandmother and does not have hardly any money for Christmas. I would like to pay her back a little for raising me. My niece needs it the most cause she is only 3 and half years old eventhough my son is 3 and half too.

  99. Tara Todd says:

It’s actually for my family. I am a single mom of 3, the kids dad see’s them maybe once a month and doesn’t help financially… It has been a non-stop raining year (1 year,1 month and a week actually) and I don’t want to lose my own apartment because we ultimately have no one we can stay with, without over crowding. I still haven’t paid my rent and really just want to get in some extra money to get that done!!

  100. April Williams says:

I have a family of 5 that are in need this Christmas. My husband was in the US Army for 5 1/2 years up until August when his time in service ended. Since then we have both been constantly looking for jobs with no luck. Everyone always asks him “are you seeking VA services” prior to even handing him an application, if they even hand him one. Our rent and utilities are being paid for by his disabled father who is a Vietnam Vet, but it is putting a strain on him as well so we can’t turn to him. My family is all in low to no income situations so we can’t turn to them. Everyone else we know refuse to help because my husband is on unemployment but what they fail to realize is he makes $235 a week ($33 a day as a whole family or $6.71 a day per person) and that’s just enough for diapers, hygiene products, household goods, and gas in the car each week. I called every organization, church, and charity I could think of this year from up to 4 counties away only to be told nobody can or will help us. They each want to say we are under a different jurisdiction or that the area we live in stands on it’s on but doesn’t have the means to help anyone (Spring Garden Al where the only thing in our town is a 1 window Post Office, a 2 pump gas station, and a K-12 school in one building because the town is so small). We thought our prayers had been answered several times the past couple of months when someone has volunteered to help us but unfortunately we have come to find every one of them were empty promises and the people have not kept in touch or allowed for us to. My children keep asking for things and it breaks my heart to know that it doesn’t look like Santa will visit this year. I try to explain to them that Mommy and Daddy have to pay Santa and that if we don’t get money he might not make it by our house this year. We feel like failures as parents having to look our children in the eye as they ask why Santa can’t let us pay him back later or to have my 2 year old hear us and say “Santa not bring me pwesents”. My son has an Autism Spectrum Disorder so he is really having the most trouble understanding why he might not have Christmas.

  101. Ashley Hawley says:

We are a family of five. There is me, my husband, and the kids are 6, 4, and almost 2 years old. My husband works very hard to make a pay check every two weeks but it just doesnt cut it most of the time; like this week, more bills than money. This would be a great help to our family.

  102. Lisa says:

I hear about Christmas miracles a the time.. I have been praying for one..

  103. krista arold says:

A family of 4 in New Jeresy were hit hard by hurrican sandy they lost their home and now living in a rental the kids are 9 and 1 and the husband is 30+ yr old disabled army vet the wife works but doesnt bring much of an income in after bills .

  104. rochelle haynes says:

  105. David Miller says:

I would like to nominate my wonderful family i just recently got home from the hopital after 3 months due to renal failure,I was put on life support when my daughter brought me in to the hospital where i went into coma .Tje doctors do not know what caused me to go into renal failure. When in the hospital everyone of my children never missed a day and at times took shifts i am tearing up thinking how i almost passed if it was not for my beautiful daughter paying a visit.i cannott work and applied for dissability but my children, friends & family have been a blessing by helping with my bills or i wouldnt even have my apartmnt.my children and i always would make our yearly holiday cookies 2 weeks before christmas and would put up our tree,i told them this year that i dont have the money or the energy to do any of this.I would just like to get each one of them a little gift to show my appreciation and how grateful i am by having such wonderful and caring children, and or my neighbors to.God Bless everyone and this christmas remember how grateful we all are.

  106. Heather C. says:

There is a family I know of who is really in need right now. They have 9 in their family (including dad and mom). They’re struggling financially right now, and this would be such a blessing to them!

  107. Jennifer c. says:

I am nominating a family that my church has recognized as needing help this year. They are starting over and don’t even have a christmas tree. So us at the church have been donating items so they will have a tree and all the trimmings. I’m not sure how many are in this family.

  108. Jennifer J says:

I would nominate my friend. Her husband works so hard to provide for the family, she stays home and takes care of the family and house as well as home schools the kids. This is a family of 12…They’ve had a very rough year and I would love to see something like this happen for them! <3

  109. Violeta V Gill says:

We are a family of 4 and on a really tight budget. My husband got injured on a job last year and now has some permanent damage. because of that they laid him off. Now he is looking for schooling to train him in a different field since he cannot continue to work construction.

  110. necta n says:

i would like to nominate my family. I m a mom to five , wife to one and a grandmother to 1. currently living with me are my 2 small little boys ages 2 and 5, and my husband. my 3 older ones live on their own . this year is gonna be a very hard one for us because we are used to being able to provided gifts under the tree for our children especially that im just became a grandmother. i love my children to death and anything would be appreciated i just lost my job nov6 no warning because of downsize and cant collect unemployment because i wasnt working long enough my husbands unemployment benefits ran out so close to the holidays and by this time last year i had presents for my kids and its looking sad this year with not even 1. this would be the second holiday that has affect us because thanksgiving is usually done at my house with my kids at the table going around saying what we’re thankful for an it wsnt done this year

  111. Brandy Spring says:

My family could use it because I’m the only one working and supporting 2 kids and a husband who hasnt been working since April of this year. Since then I lost my car. And my husband has been fighting for disability. He cant work and I tried to work 2 jobs and I cant do it.
I got sick in July and was hospitalized for 4 days and was out of work for 3 weeks. Without pay. I had to go back to work weather I was feeling better or not. Rent was always late. That was an extra $70 tacked on my normal rent. this year has justs been awful for all 4 of us.
This year its either a car for me or christmas presents for my family. But I choose presents for my family because my family comes first to me.

  112. rachel says:

i would like to nominate a family of 4. They have 2 little boys ages (almost) 3 and 4. The husband was unemployed for over a year and did not get any unemployment benefits and mom is a stay at home mom. Although dad has a job now they are still struggling to get back on their feet. They lost their home in foreclosure and are trying so hard to get caught back up on their bills. They had hoped to be back on their feet by Christmas, but as the holiday is quickly approaching and paychecks seem to be getting smaller and smaller its looking unlikely. Unless something drastic happens in the next week or so its going to be a very small Christmas which is extra hard as this is the first year that their kids are old enough to get the whole santa/presents thing.

  113. I’m nominating my brother because his wife is on dialysis twice a week due to kidney failure. He has to work hard at the same time take care of his wife and their kids. He needs some extra money to help with medical expenses and school fees for his kids.

  114. Jahna Smith says:

I would nominate my sister. She is a single mom with 5 great kids and one adorable granddaughter. Only two of her children live with her right now (the others are all grown up). She has been unemployed since September and unable to find work. She has already told her kids that there will be no Christmas this year, which breaks my heart. I offered to buy her a tree so she could at least decorate. She would not let me because she is afraid it will only get her kids hopes up. She has had to face so many obstacles in her life, I would love to be able to make it just a little easier for her.

  115. Ronda says:

I know a family that has 5 children ages 20, 18, 15, 10 and 7. The 20 and 18 year old are on their own, but still need the parents help at times. The mother lost her job a few months ago she was the only one with a regular check coming in. The father has a business and depends on farmers to pay the bills the have with him. Those payments are few and far between this year. They have payments to make on equipment and not enough money for that, not to mention Christmas. They could really use this. With 5 to 7 people in the house at times, I know they would be thrilled to get something like this.

    rrudnick@netnet.net

  116. This is an awesome way to share with others. My family pick is for 3 people– mother and 2 sons–6 & 7. the father does not pay attention to the boys. My daughter does not work and she is an awesomme mother.

  117. Victoria Leyba Small says:

I would nominate my own family we are a family of 7 and struggling but I would really like to nominate my neighbors family of 6 including the parents they are struggling more then we are her husband lost his job because his boss lost his contracting license and they are both looking for work but haven’t found one yet.

  118. Joan Hillman says:

The economy has been tough and this family of 3 kids has been through a few storms and still holding strong. I’ve never seen a more committed and loving family still full of faith and hope,,true inspirations ..Definitely a deserving family.

  119. I am nominating my daughter and her family. They are a family of 5.Pior Miltary family just back to the states from Germany, upon arriving jobs that were suppose to be waiting wasn’t there , sadly both are without a job and they have a 2 yr old daughter,a 6 yr old son thats has Autistic Spectrum Disorder and a 7 yr old daughter. It is so heartbreaking when they call to hear them say Nana mommy and daddy can’t pay Santa we aren’t going to get anything, as i type this tears roll down my cheeks as it hurts to know my daughter is a state away and that i can’t hold her and make things all better. I am having to live in section 8 housing and only get $73 utility check to pay my gas and light bills, i try and use as much daylight then go to bed so i don’t use much electricity or use clorox bottles with hot water to stay warm. I have been denied my disability so i’m not able to help out much. Thanks so much for all you do. May all the ones here have a miracle happen for you ,your family and friends

  120. Shelly Malicote says:

I don’t want to sound selfish, because I know there are others out there that need just as much as I do. I would like to nominate my family, or more specifically my son. I am a single mother, I work full time as of recently after being laid off for well over 6 months, as well as having a few previous layoffs. I just moved out on my own after living with my mother since my husband left my son and I back in September of 2011. Things have been rough and our world has been turned upside down, things haven’t been the best financially and we have had a rough year, to say the least. I have always dreamed of my son having an amazing life no matter what sacrifices I would have to make, and I have, sacrificed anything and everything possible. In short, I would love to give my son an amazing Christmas that he deserves, no to spoil him, but to give him something he hasn’t got a lot of this past year, one of the most amazing years of his childhood, being two years old and the time where he needed the most development. He is about to turn 3 next week and unfortunately I won’t be able to provide him with an extravagant birthday as much as I had hoped. With just starting work, and yet to receive a paycheck, bills are piled up, and by the time I do get paid all the money will go to bills, not credit cards, I dont have those, but rent, water, electric, insurance, gas, etc. We dont have cable, we dont have much at all. So to be able to provide him with a few things that no child should have to go without would be such a blessing to me, and to him. I’m not done yet, I am a firm believer in paying it forward, so even though I do not know many people in my community. I WILL seek out a needy family(ies) to share my blessing with and provide with holiday gifts that they need and I look forward to being able to do that. Thank you so much for this opportunity and I sincerely wish everyone the best of luck and never forget the TRUE meaning of CHRISTmas. God Bless you all!

  121. Jenny says:

I have read through the posts and now can’t stop bawling. There are so many that need help and I wish I could help you all. I wish the world was different so we would not have to go through all the suffering of life. The family I am nominating is a family of 3. A mother and 2 children ages 13 and 18. The mother has bipolar disorder and because of this disorder she has developed other health problems as well. She can barely walk anymore and has not seen a doctor in about a year. She worked hard through her life taking care of her family the best she could until the bipolar took over so bad she couldn’t work anymore. Now, she has lost everything she had in material belongings. Her family lives in a hotel room now with nothing. She loves her children and still takes care of them the best she can. The 18 year old wanted to leave to another state with friends to try for a job. She said she wanted to get a job and a house then move the mother and her brother with her there. She has tried to get jobs here but there is not much and has not been called for any of them. She went as far as to say finally she did not want to go she couldn’t leave her mom here alone. The mother told her she was only to go if that is what she wanted to do and not for her alone. So she will stay with her mom and this Christmas they will be happy because they are together at Christmas and are not homeless or separated. This family I speak of is my own. Thanks for running a giveaway such as this.

Hope this isn’t taken wrong but, I would love to gift it to our family. We have taken in one of my sisters and her son as well as another sisters son to add to our family of 5 with only my hubby’s little income. It has been VERY hard, but we are a family that takes care of each other! I love my sister and nephews and try my best to make them feel at home with us.

  123. Deb Hall says:

You know when I read this I wanted to seriously enter for myself and my family but I did alot of thinking and praying about it and well I am entering for a friend of mine who has been there for me many times over the years her and her boyfriend have seven children and they are homeless staying in a friends basement, She works many many hours but just cant save up enough to get them into a place of their own, He was laid off not once but twice and has been constantly looking for work they are a wonderful family with 2 disabled children and a little girl who is 5 and just learning who Santa is

  124. Karla says:

I nominate my own family. I am a single mom, age 54, of 2 teens and one baby granddaughter. I have medical problems, arthritis and carpal tunnel and nerve damage in my hands. My job was taken from me this past Feb and given to a vet returning from deployment. My dept used this opportunity to discriminate against me for my medical issues..even though I never missed work..got excellent reviews, etc. They put me on administrative leave so they could supposedly look for another job for me but it’s December and no job. I was getting partial pay for short term disability but that ended in Sept. I have been borrowing money from my 75 year old mom and that can’t go on. I have just applied for foodstamps and even though I have worked for the past 37 years of my life and never gotten help from anyone, the welfare people act like they don’t want to give them to me. I have foreclosure notices and am struggling to get help keeping my house. It’s crazy. I have always given money, clothes and gift cards to poor people and struggling families and never thought I would ever be needing help. If I win this prize I would be so blessed, cause there is no money to buy anything this year..

  125. Holly W says:

I would like to nominate a very needy family right now. There 5 or them 3 children & 2 parents. The mother has a lot of medical issues and can’t work & The father lost his job of 9 yrs in Aug. Their house was fourclosed on and they now have to live off the fathers unemployment which is only $550 every 2 weeks. Plus thier youngest daughter’s birthday is Christmas Eve.

  126. Eva Mitton says:

If fortunate enough to be chosen, I would gift this to my BFF Val – a widow – with 2 teenage boys. It is during the Christmas holidays that her inner light shines and her selflessness abounds. It was Dec 25th her husband was admitted into emergency and sadly he succumbed to complications of pneumonia. So on Dec 25th, she puts her heart and soul into joining family in celebrating Christmas and helping her sons through the difficulty of the day. Bear with me as I recant a story- to show the true essence of this angel. Val is a salesperson and works 60-70 hours a week to provide for her boys. En route backhome she saw a homeless man on the side of the road in clothes that were tattered and with no mitts/boots. A woman of strong FAITH, she picked this man up and took him to the nearest Salvation Army and was able to get much needed clothing survive such a frigid night. With given directions she drove this homeless man to his friends place and before leaving shovelled their walks. She told me what hurt her most was that she couldn’t afford to buy the man a winter coat. Just recently she had heart surgery to repair a faulty valve, but this woman still needs to put in the same amount of hours to put food on her table. Her boys are coming to her place for Christmas with their girlfriends and the cost of meals, gifts…is a worry and an albatross around her neck. I am blessed to call Val my friend – she is a candle of hope for many who have been in despair, a simple/gentle woman – through it all – smiles and laughs and lifts up the spirits of others. I would love to see her SMILE be one of utter surprise and delight. She has never had luxuries or ever binged for that matter. For just ONCE let this be her moment to shine. Thanks for such an exemplary giveaway.

  127. Erin Morfin says:

My daughter and I need this because we have fallen upon some hard times, and are on state aid. Because of this we have zero spare money, and her father is not in the picture. To make matters worse, her birthday is two days after Christmas, and we can’t afford much of anything. She’s going to be two this year.

I would like to nominate my Family. There’s me, my husband and our 2 children. We have a 16 year old son and a 14 year old daughter. We have 1 income because even though I graduated over the summer with my Bachelors in Psychology, I am not able to go out and get a job because I need to stay home with my son who goes to school online. We gained custody of him 2 1/2 years ago from a former friend who wasn’t able to take care of him. He has a lot of social needs and needs to be supervised. My school loans are coming due shortly after Christmas so we have to save money to start paying those. Thanks for the opportunity for this.

  131. Amanda Throckmorton says:

It really saddens me to hear all those that are in need. I know a family that is in need for Christmas. My Older Sister who has 2 young daughters 5 and a daughter who is 9 years old who suffers from Seizures really wants a Mp3 player or an American Girl Doll she goes in and out of Childrens Mercy alot. This year I am short on cash, usually have money to buy all the kids gifts, I don’t even have money to buy my family gifts. So I had to tell everyone that I can only pick a few children to give to. Last year I made an effort to give. My sister also has 2 boys 13 and 15 one whom is in cpc on the account that he wanted to live with his dad. My sister works at a nursing home, they can barely afford food, even on assistance. Most their money is to buy food and pay for housing. It hurts me so bad to know I couldn’t help this year.

  132. Shannon Lovett says:

I have a family of 6, 7 if you count that we also have my Father-in-law living with us now. I am the only one working in my household due to a lay-off. My Children are 12, 12,13,and 19. I work every day, typically 11 hours each day just to provide the necessities. My Father passed away recently and I was left with the expense of his burial on my own. My children deserve to have a great Christmas and I alone just can’t do it this year. Praying that I win this so that I can at least get a little of the stress off of my shoulders.

  133. Misty Taylor says:

I would like to take this time a nominate my aunt, she has taken my cousin and her two kids in so they would not be on the streets. These two children have been through so much the past few years and recently had to watch their father be taken away to prison. My aunt and uncle have taken a second mortgage out on their house just to provide for these children. The mom is finally getting on track and going back to school, but that doesn’t bring income into the house. I would love to see their faces if chosen, I know it would be a lot of relief. My uncle had two children in the past three year commit suicide and it seems that things just keep going downhill for them.

  134. cheryl danggelo says:

I could actually use this for my family. I have three young girls and my husband abandoned us and when he did he went to the bank and took every single cent from our joint acct.

  135. jennifer says:

i would love to win this. i am married to my husband and we have our one and a half year old son. we are struggling financially. after i had my son.. we moved from cali to ct. he left his job of over fifteen years along with all of his friends and family. it was hard for him but i had post partum really bad and he knew it would help to be close to my family. so he did it for us. we racked up over five thousand dollars in moving expenses.. and he finally found a new job that is a good fit.. but our finances are horrible. we owe money with the move, money from our son (he was born premature), and are just struggling to catch up. and now he is suffering from bad depression and really misses his family during the holidays coming up. i wish i could win these to avoid the financial stress of the holidays for him since he is already depressed and so stressed out.

  136. Krystal Mercier says:

I would love to win this for my family! I am a 24 year old wife and mother of 2 little girls ages 8 and 2. I had major back surgery in September and have been out of work over a year with back issues. I was denied disability, so we have been struggling to make it. I feel like a failure not being able to provide for my family. My husband works but got cut down to 14 hours a week. I love being able to make other little kids Christmas wishes come true, but this year, I can’t even do it for my own family! Just the other day my 8 year old told me she wasn’t sure there really is a Santa, I don’t want her to find out it’s true because I can’t get what she asked for. Christmas is supposed to be such a joyous time, but this year really sucks for me. I hope you can make my families Christmas wishes come true!

  137. angela ruiz says:

There is 6 people in this family. I have nothing under my tree. Money is so tight along with 4 kids under 5 makes it REALLY hard. This is WONDERFUL

  138. yvonne dewolf says:

We are a family of 4, and We are both disabled, and so is one of our daughters. I have had a few surgeries and we are on very limited income due to medical bills. I would love to win this so our family could have a Christmas this year. My children are 8 and 18.

  139. Kristi K says:

I would like to nominate a friend.

It’s mom and dad and three kids. The kids are 2, 11, and 12. They lost a 9 year old last summer, he was severely handicapped from birth and the mom was his primary caregiver.

This is a blended family and they are really struggling to get by. Once their son died, they stopped receiving his social security benefits and the husband’s income wasn’t enough. They were homeless several times in the past 18 months, even moving in with the mom’s ex and his family for awhile. On top of that, the mom was diagnosed with Ovarian/cervical cancer this year and doesn’t have health insurance.

Last night, the dad was injured on the job when he was working with heavy equipment. The three kids are 2 and a half, 11, and 12. They need warm clothes, socks, underwear. The parents also need clothes as well.

  140. Pam Donica says:

The family I am nominating now only has three members. My friend’s fiance passed away, and they have two toddlers. My friend just recently started a new job, and it’s hard to say exactly how the company will handle the situation…hopefully, they will be more than kind. This is a young family, too. My heart is so saddened by the loss, especially here at Christmas, not only for his and their sons loss, but this young ladies parents and siblings. Even if I don’t win, please lift this family up in prayer. I’m praying for their hearts to have true peace.

  141. marcia g says:

  142. Leticia Kozbial-Brown says:

My daughter and her family. They are starting over.

  143. Shelby Luskey says:

I’m nominating myself, I don’t have a lot of kids, and I’m not in poverty. I am on workers comp, and have been since March. I have no income..but I have family that does the best they can to help me. I’d love to be self sufficient just once so that I could not have to rely on them, give them burden this month. I run an animal rescue, and any money I make out of that, goes back into the rescue animals..

  144. Dana says:

I am a big believer in paying it forward. If we won, I would use $100 for our family, and find 2 other families to help too. May everyone find peace and joy this year.

  145. Melanie C says:

I am in the same way as all these people. I think everyone should WIN this. It would be so nice. It’s just a wonderful gift to WIN. There are so many people who deserve this.

  146. Chrystal Limon says:

We have always tried to give our kids a great Christmas. This year is not so good. WE have 5 children one in which it will be his first Christmas. Our medical bills have racked up so high that our Christmas is shot. This would mean a great deal to our family.

  147. sara english says:

its a family of 4. 2 boys and a male and female adult. I would put all of the reasons they deserve to win…But God knows their needs and I believe if it is his will…it will be done… Thanks for the opportunity
    ~Sara

  148. Sarah says:

My great aunt and uncle have had a very hard few years. My aunty had a devestating stroke a few years back and lost all motor function in her right side. She has only gained a little bit back and needs help from my uncle just to walk. Before the stroke she was an in-home caretaker for people with MS but she cannot work anymore. My uncle works his butt off at Walmart stocking shelves and doing heavy lifting just to keep food on the table. Recently they even lost their car and have been relying on close family to even get their groceries. They don’t ask for anything and they’ve given so much in their lives, I would be so grateful to win this money to give to them so they can have the first real Christmas in years.

  149. Haylee Marie Rowe says:

I am unable to enter due to rafflecopter malfunctions, so if you could kindly enter me and/or email me for the information it would be GREATLY appriciated! Thank you so much for your time. This giveaway is MUCH needed!

  150. Robyn says:

We are a family of 3 and I would like to nominate us. Normally I would nominate another family, normally I would be adopting other’s and doing what I can for them but this year rough times have finally gotten to be too much and we a no longer just getting by. Usually we live pay check to pay check, we pay bills and buy groceries, but now we are not even able to pay bills. My husband gets paid depending on how much work there is and lately there hasn’t been much work. We can barely get rent and insurance paid, forget anything extra. I’ve been dealing with a massively horrible toothache since October and what little money we had saved for Christmas now has to go towards a dentist bill. This year has been so rough on us, the stress has taken it’s toll and we could use a little happiness right now. I would love to be able to do something for our daughter, she’s a wonderful little girl and adores the simplest of things… a sucker or a small toy ball means the world to her. I would love to be able to do something for my husband… he works so hard and I know its hard on him to work as hard as possible to take care of us and times still be as rough as they are.

  151. Annette says:

I’m not going to get my hopes up nor am I entering more than this once. My family and I could really use this. it has been about 6 years or longer since we’ve had a real Christmas with presents and all…. Congrats to who ever wins!

  152. Julie Sullivan says:

I’m nominating this family because the mom works really hard to take care of her family… The family has been living in a hotel for over a year now ,living pay check to pay check just to keep a roof over their head and food in their mouth… The kids have have never really ever had a real Christmas before so this giveaway would be perfect for them this year.. It’s a family of five,Mom,three boys, and a girl…

  153. patricia says:

I would like to nominate a family that the mom is very special to her children and they are struggling financially and she is very thoughtful to others and this would be a great way to help her out in reward for all that she does for others. there is 4 in the family. She is a young mom and has two young children and she is always looking for creative ways to save money so that she can afford to get the children new things. great and thoughtful giveaway

  154. Stephanie Blitz says:

Family of 6, mom has been out of work since May because of an injury, down to one income. Mom might be having another surgery which has a healing time of at least 18 months. Have 4 children ages 13, 11, 9 and 4. This has been a rough year for this family,

  155. It would be very nice to get some help.this year with Christmas.

  156. Shannon Fitzgerald-Fahs says:

Its a hard time foreveryone nowadays. I have been married 8 years next month. I got hurt as a travelin CNA 7 years ago (i was never home but money was good), my husband has had jobs but seasonal ones and they end. Havent had anything steady in years but out looking daily. I have two kids a 13 year old bout who is always on the honar roll and got excepted to take college course this summer. My 8 year old has mental handicaps, started talking at 5, goes to Theraphys, conciling etc. He has come a long ways. = a family of four. We decided as a family to move back to Florida cause Connecticut was impossible to make it unless u worked 24/7 and I was missing the little things with my kids that we all take for granted. We are here now. We found out that my exhusbands mom & grandma & uncles were sick so we went to help. Yeah I said EX HUSBANDS FAMILY!! We were asked to stay in return help a bit, cook, clean, you know. We did! My Ex hasnt been around in years nor called these people either. Well the mother is a Women Vet who has brain drama, seizers, lipodema, diabetes, now recovering from colon cancer, etc. Grandma had a quadruple by pass, has been hospitalized more times then I can coulnt , has diabetes (bad you know when the machine only reads HI), The Uncle who lived around the corner died 1 1/2 years ago. These ladies are awsome. Very little mobilitie. My husband cooks them breakfast in the morning, changes potty chairs, etc. I do alot of running aroung to DRs, kids stuff, food shopping etc. But we wouldnt change it for the world. I just hope when we get like that someone will help us. Thank You!! I hope everyone has a merry Christmas!!

  157. Shannon Stotler says:

3 in the family and the reason is, we were renting a home and had to leave due to lead levels being so high they said it was dangerous for my daughter but before we could go back and get our things, the landlords nephew took everything and sold it and stuff like clothes, toys etc were thrown outside in a field in a huge pile to be burned…

  158. jodi frasier says:

Well, I would like to nominate my parents.. My parents are elderly and my mom had Disc Degenerate Disease, and my dad just had Quadruple Bypass surgery. My 2 nephews live with them because their father committed suicide 2 years ago. Right now with my dad not working they have low income and it’s just a rough time of year for them. 159. Laura Minarcik says:

I would like to nominate my husband and myself. We are not giving presents this year because we cannot afford any.We have too many bills, cut hours at work, utility payment plans, behind on our mortgage and can’t afford Christmas this year.So it’s dinner at his parents house only on Christmas Eve.Wish I could make my husband smile with something for him because no matter how hard we try we keep falling behind.Worse yet we have no health insurance if anything goes wrong.People talk about being broke and having nothing. But you never broke until you no matter what you do it’s never enough to get caught up and eventually stay ahead of the game.

  160. Wendy Jacobson says:

This is difficult for me as I have never bever been one to ask for help, but I do so now for my child and my mother. I was left unempoyed through no fault of myo own of few months ago and have been seeking work ever since. As a single mom, I am the sole support for my son along with my aging parents. I have so many blessings, such as the ability to spend more time with my mom who has advanced Alzheimer. However, I do not have enough to cover the costs of a Christmas this year. This year’s Christmas will by my son’s ninth and my mother’s last. I would be most blessed and grateful to win this giveaway to honor my mother’s last Christmas with a lovely decorated tree and give my son the childhood memory of a magical Christmas. I am sure there are many people out there in my particular situation this year, so I hope that someone deserving can win this wonderful prize! Thank you to the sponser and to all a Merry Christmas!

The fire happen when no one was home from lighting storm. Thankful no one was injury. They are a family of five. Mom, Dad, and 2 teen boys.

  163. Cindy T says:

Hi, I could also nominate a family member but I won’t. I see there are so many more needy Families out there and I pray that there will be gifts under their tree for the children! They are the innocent ones that deserve this. I would be willing to donate a gift or a few dollars to Kimberly to use as she feels fit to help a child, are there any others who would like to join me in doing this to make a child smile? Please think about this, there isn’t much time and I know the Families would appreciate it also!

    • Kimberly says:

      Cindy,

Thanks SO much you read through and seen what is here. I can’t count how many times I have cried since this giveaway has started reading the comments and wanting so bad to reach out and help. Sadly I’m only one person and it’s not possible :(
If I could reach you I’d give you a huge HUG <3

      • Cindy T says:

Ty Kimberly. I know what you mean, I have grown Kids and 10 Grand Kids and It would tear my heart out if they were disappointed on Christmas. Some times my Grand kids will go into a store with their money and buy a gift for a name on a tree to give a child . It makes me so proud to know that they care about others in need, wish everyone felt the same! Merry Christmas to you and everyone out there. Hugs back to you!

  164. Jennifer Brown says:

I won’t mention the name of the family but the family I would like to gift this to if I won has 6 children. The Mother homeschools all of the older children and takes care of some new medical needs for their youngest. The Father works 2-3 jobs at a time. Great family, kind ….but they could sure use some help. I have 5 children myself and cannot imagine having to worry over basic needs… I realize we are very fortunate to not only cover needs but a few small wants as well. Merry Christmas Everyone!

  165. Melisa Turner says:

I would like to nominate my family. I am 21 trying to find a job with no luck. My husband who is 20 is the only one working and we have 2 daughters. My oldest will be 2 tomorrow (12-8-2012) and my youngest just turned 1 (11-22-2011). We have to buy diapers twice a month and formula because my oldest will not drink regular milk or any other kind. she also does not want cow meat so she eats tofu. We barely have enough money for them so my husband has shoes from 4 years ago and cant afford work boots. This Christmas my girls will get presents nothing big and only 1 present each. and the do have a tree since its last years and its fake. but what i would love to have help with is for a present for my husband that does everything for us.

  166. Heather EW Lyden says:

I would like to nominate my family. I live alone with my two dogs and 2 cats. They were my grandparents cats, and when they passed, I brought them home to be loved. I’m going through a terrible divorce and have been abandoned to go through all of this alone. My husband was arrested for federal voting corruption and tax evasion; he was also found to have been having an affair. I am alone, struggling to make everything work after he took everything away. I am paying my bills monthly but never have enough to cover groceries, so I do struggle. THis would be my Christmas miracle.

  167. Crystal Rodriquez says:

I would like to nominate my family. We are just a family of two, but we are struggling to make ends meet. Our only source of income is my husband’s disability, and that never stretches the entire month. I have been seeking a job for over a year, but no place has hired me yet. We live in a town where there is plenty of young people to do the work, and attract in more customers. My husband feels terrible that he is unable to get me any Christmas presents, and I feel the same way about it for him. Just as I feel horrible that I cannot get my parents anything, for all the help they have given us, even though they too are struggling. I just want to see us all have a happy and merry Christmas.

  168. Noah Canales says:

There are 2 in the family , a son and mother . Teen mom. No help from father , continues education and has an eBay store to feed her son. Please help !

  170. I am nominating a family that just moved across country and right after they did friends of theirs were met tragedies. So instead of job searching she decided her place was to take care of these other families through cooking meals, driving them to the hospitals, babysitting for them, general moral support and helping them pay bills. Well after all that and the expense of the move they no longer have the $ to buy presents for their 3 children. There is a 9 year old boy who loves to read and play and 6 year old twin one boy, one girl. He is also a big reader and loves to build things. She loves tea parties, art/crafts and to cook with mom. They all need snow boots (9y/o boy size 4, 6 y/o girl sz 12, 6 y/o boy sz 2) because of moving from warmer climate they are not prepared for the colder winter this year.

  171. Jaimee says:

I am a single mother of an 8 year old daughter. I do not receive child support, government assistance, and I work a full time job just to struggle every month. I am trying to save as much money with these deals, but rarely have the money, and it’s more important to keep food on the table. We do not have a tree yet, and not sure if we can get one. I do not have the money for it right now, and having difficulty with my bank account. I rarely ask for help, but I feel that my child deserves the best and I hate not being able to give it to her.

  172. Rebecca M says:

I am a mom to 4 wonderful children. My husband has been out of work now for 6 months. I am working full time just to make ends meet. I would love to be able to give my kids something under the tree. Actually we won’t have a tree, but I have a very cute little tree that we are going to use. I am trying to keep it upbeat for them, but sometimes it is hard. I have 2 girls 14 and 16 and 2 boys 13 and 10. Anything would be wonderful
    Thanks for the opportunity.

  173. Shannon Vogel says:

My family has really been struggling this year. I was out of work with no pay for a while and my husband is going to be losing his job at the end of this month. We go some small gifts for our children and other people in our extended family pretty early on, but now we’re behind on rent and bills because of cut hours at work. My husband and I really wanted to get each other gifts, but it just isn’t happening this year.

  174. Mistey Neff says:

I want to nominate my Mom. We just lost my little brother September 18, 2012 due to Brain Stem Glioma’s. An inoperable type of Cancer that grows in the brain stem. My Mom cared for him the whole time he was sick while also having to care for my recently turned 12 year old sister and my brothers 4 children he left behind when they came to see my little brother. My brother wasn’t even 30 for a whole month when he passed. Both of my parents are severely struggling with his death as well as his children. He also will never meet his unborn son that is due in March of 2013 who will take on his full name (I am really excited about that!). My Mom doesn’t have her tree up. My brother always put it for her. She aches for this because it was a significant memory. My parents as with the rest of us are really hurting this Christmas. My Mom had to resume work way to early after his passing and we also had to give everything in saving to make for his cremation and funeral services. Everything turned out beautifully but now that Christmas is here, she has Grandchildren to shop for and a 12 year old Daughter (The rest of us wouldn’t dare to expect a gift, we know how hard it is for her) but is struggling to even get into the Christmas spirit since my brothers passing. She cries all the time since her heart is so broken. My Mom could really use the help and Holiday Cheer. I am nominating her and praying for her healing This rough Holiday. Thank you for offering this to those in need this year! There is My Mom (she could use something nice), My Dad (Who could also use something nice) and my baby sister. I won’t request for the Grandchildren since they will have a good Christmas because my Mom (as she does every Year) will give her all to them to see them smile. Even if it breaks her. I don’t want to see her so broken anymore, she needs a break herself. Sincerely, Mistey Neff

The family I would nominate is a family of 4

  176. Carolyn M says:

I am going to give this to our Rescue Mission”s Women’s and Children Shelter because they really need help at this time of the year! A tree just for the kids and a mother there in the section where they live would be wonderful! I can name the shelter in email only as it is confidential to either keep the children or the mother and the children safe from their abuse at home among other reasons for being there. The program is really incredible!

“The xxx , serving homeless single women and women with children, established its Life Recovery program in 1998, offering a transitional living program that included programming for recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. In December of 2003, the Lxxx established the xxx Emergency Care program, which is a year-round emergency shelter that also serves as an overflow shelter when the two domestic violence shelters in the County are full.

Today, with an overall capacity of 104 beds, the xxx offers a complete continuum of care specifically tailored to the needs of homeless women and families by offering shelter, intervention, substance abuse recovery, case management, education, life skills development, vocational training, employment, and transitional housing.”

  181. Amanda Schick says:

My aunt and uncle definitely deserve this. This Christmas will be extra hard on them as this will be the first Christmas without my cousin who had passed away from stage 4 brain cancer this passed July. As if that wasn’t rough a month after my cousins passing my aunt suffered a heart attack thankfully she is alright. But now they habe the added responsibility of raising my cousins 17 year old daughter. There will probably be no Christmas for them this year especially after the expenses of burying my 36 year old cousin. So please pick me to win.
    Thank you

  182. Jacqueline Miller says:

I would like to nominate my friends family in TN. She just found out that her husband is dying from cancer because the meds he was on did not help. There is nothing more the doctors can do for him. He is the bread winner to my friend Chris and their two sons, they are 9 and 3. They have no income (her husband recently lost his job) and won’t be able to pay for rent, food, etc. Please help my friends

  183. Tabitha Shadle says:

The family I would like to nominate has 4 people in it. The father was diagnosed with lung cancer this year, right after the business he was working for went out of business. He has surgery to have part of his lung removed and is now in remission. The mother has been on disability for a few years now, because of back problems. There are two children who deserve so much, they are always helping out their parents whenever they can. The mother has told me that she will have to give out IOU’s to her children this year, with a few small gifts.

  184. Danita Vojta says:

I am nominating my family as I nor my husband can afford to buy for our boys this year due to him being the only one working and that isnt even enough to cover all our bills plus food. I am so praying and hopeful that someone will help so that our boys dont go without this Christmas. I have been out of work since Janruary 13th and havent been able to find work as of yet. My boys are outgrowing their clothes, and Ive been crying alot. This Christmas is going to be very hard. Please help us,thank you

    • Danita Vojta says:

Our sons are 7 and 14. Alan & William. Also our nephew moved in with us and has no one to buy for him. No one will buy for him and I feel really bad for him. His parents wont even do anything for him and this makes me sad. They say hes 18 now and has to do it on his own. Hes still in Highschool:( There are 5 people in my house hold.

  185. Amanda T says:

The family I nominate has 5 children, Mom is going through a divorce, and has lost everything she owned, including her beloved horse and has moved in with her Mom. The kids range from 2 up to 12, they could all use some new clothes, shoes, and every child loves toys. I would love for them to win this, they could all use some Christmas cheer.

  186. Elizabeth Ortega says:

There are 4 of us. We may not have much money for gifts, but what we do have is love. I want my kids to know the true meaning of the season, and not to base their feelings on the gifts they recieve! <3

  187. Susan says:

It would be great to give back to my mom. $300 could go a long way and if we were able to save $300 on a month of bills, she would feel better knowing that the money saved puts us one step closer to one wish. We are trying to raise funds for an iPad for my autism therapy. My mom relies heavily on her disability and veteran’s benefits and I’m not able to work yet.

  188. Laura Koester says:

Truly a potential Christmas miracle! Cannot begin to explain how this could make such a difference in lives. Thank you both for such an opportunity!

  189. Laura Koester says:

Family is mom 52 kids 25,21, grand kids ages 7 and 4 months, daughter and son in law both 33. Sorry I forgot that. And daughters friend who stays there and is jobless. 190. Rachel Donegan says:

I am nominating my own family. I am a nurse by profession but earlier this year I started passing out in expectantly while driving because of this and the continued dizziness I have been unable to work. My husband is working 50-60 hrs a week trying to keep up with the bills and the holidays . We have nobody that is in a position to help us. My children are 18, 14, 10 and my youngest will turn 5 on the 11 th of this month. Normally, at Christmas we like to help others . My older kids have not really asked for anything this year except that there 2 little brothers are happy. It breaks my heart to know I cannot make their Christmas special. My youngest asked for a furbie and an Xbox my 10 year old just asked for nerf guns. I would love to get my oldest a new playstation controller and my daughter really wants a pair of sneakers. Ty for doing this whatever family is lucky enough to be chosen will surely have a merry Christmas .

  191. Marcie says:

We are a family of 6. Two girls ages 9 and 11 and 2 year old fraternal twins. I have Cerebal Palsy and epilepsy and only get SSI as an income. My husband is a retired carpenter who is diabetic on insulin, has recently had a stent placed in his heart and is scheduled to have his right knee replaced on December 21 and I will be having a total left hip replacement in January. It has been a rough year for all of us medically and financially. I would love to win this so we can give the kids some of the things they want/ need for Christmas. I just want them to have a little bit of happiness during all these medical issues we are facing.. Thanks!!

  192. Carla W says:

The family I am nominating is a younger couple with 2 kids and another on the way. They struggle to make it month to month, yet are too proud to ask for help. Their kids are great and don’t complain about what they don’t have and focus more on what they do, a loving home and family. I would love to see them be able to give their kids a great Christmas.

  193. CarolynH says:

A family who had their income drop by over 50% due to a job lay-off. They have a bare tree with next to nothing under it. They’re just able to pay for rent and necessities. Praying for a mild winter so they don’t have to worry about central heating/AC needing to be repaired. Mom, dad, little boy, &elderly grandma. Mom needs a surgery; the dad just had surgery last month. It would be nice to win for this family.

  194. Kati Minas says:

I know a young couple who just had a son. He was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. They lost everything trying to juggle their bills and extended hospital stays in the closest metropolitan hospital, 100 miles from home. Their little boy has come near death many times. To make matters worse, an ex friend they were staying with sold their sons crib from underneath them. This present would help them so much. They’re only 19 and 21 years old, just kids themselves going through a very terrible situation.

  195. Jennifer Bumgarner says:

The family I am nominating had a baby in September. There are just the three of them. There were some complications during the pregnancy and the mom was off longer than leave time would permit so she was terminated. The dad works so very hard to support his family but with bills piling up and cold weather which means higher electric bills, they could use the help.

  196. kaye lake says:

There is a local family whose daughter died and they cannot afford a tombstone, which is really upsetting them. I would like to donate the money to them if i won to go for a tombstone or some type of marker..

  197. Mary Shearer says:

I am involved in a group called Angels network and we help people in need. I am sure there are many families that could use the money. Not just one but distribute amongest several. we wouldn’t have to buy big gifts but smaller ones so more families could enjoy the holidays.

  198. tabatha mcmillan says:

I am nominating my family. My husband is currently laid off and I have several health issues and I am on disability. We can not afford Christmas this year and would like to do something to boost my husbands morale, He is wonderful and such a giver even with spending hours looking for employment he volunteers his time weekly to raise money or help with children who need medical care or transportation to appointments or the hospitals. We have 2 little ones an 11 month old little boy and a 4 year old little girl. They both would love some new toys dolls, trucks, soft books, etc. I would love to give my husband a gift, too, he would love a nook or kindle. I would be happy to have the money to fix a good traditional family meal for Christmas. Thank you for the chance to make our Christmas bright.

  199. Thanks for the opportunity. Our family has been struggling financially ever since the end of 2010 when my husband got laid off of his job of 17 years. It got even worse in May of this year when his unemployment ran out. He has only worked off and on since then and I can only find part time work. Winning this would mean we could give our 2 daughters some Christmas and Birthday presents which otherwise at this point I don’t foresee them getting anything from us. My one daughter’s birthday is 3 days before Christmas and the other one’s is 2 weeks after Christmas. Praying for a miracle. Merry Christmas to all and God Bless!

  200. Kimberly Frazee says:

There is 3 in the family. They just had a premie baby at 26 weeks on Oct. 25 and the baby is doing great other than her being able to breath on her own. The Ronald McDonald house has been letting them stay there because they wouldnt beable to be there at all as much if that wasnt possible because it is a 80 mile trip one way. The father just got word last week that he is now offically layed off and the mother hasnt worked so she could be with her baby. They will not have a Christmas at all but the blessing is that the baby is doing great and thats the best Christmas Present ever truely. Hopefully she will be off oxygen soon. Everytime they try to take her off she forgets to breath is the problem only because she isnt suppose to be born yet and has to learn this so early. I sure do appreciate this giveaway and sure am happy that someone in need will get a Christmas!

  201. mELISSA says:

  207. valerie y says:

The family I am nominating are friends. A couple who have only been married a few years, but have spent the most of that time apart while he serves our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. Although they haven’t been able to have their own children yet, they make up their family by helping everyone else. They have welcomed 2 college age boys into their home and have taken in troubled youth without compensation. Always willing to drop anything to lend a hand, lend money, provide transportation, work, anything anyone asks of them, they ask nothing in return, just quietly go about doing good. Since the last tour overseas ended, he is going to school and working and they have fallen on some hard times, but instead of asking for help, have sold precious possessions and continued to help others. I cant think of a little family more deserving of a surprise this Christmas.

  208. Kim says:

    I. Don’t exactly have a “family” in need but a bunch of kids I would love to win this for. I am our local Girl Scout leader and 99% of my girls come from broken homes that don’t have any money. And I mean no money. I feel so sorry for them but they don’t know any different because this is how they have grown up. I would love to. Do something special for them. There are 7 girl sin our troop.

  218. The family is of four. but there are seven in the house right now because the husband invited his brother, wife and baby to stay due to their own hard times. They are having a hard time getting their December rent together because the husband’s job didn’t pay him his last months pay, resulting in the need to file an unpaid wages claim. He’s been doing odd jobs to try and keep the electricity on and get the rent paid. The family includes a 5 yr old boy, 1 yr old daughter, 27 wife, 28 husband. It would be nice for them to have a nice Christmas, because unless they get a miracle, it isn’t going to happen.

  219. Carol says:

I am related to the family I would like to nominate. They are both disabled seniors with five children, ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren between them. Because of health issues, this has been a difficult year for them.

  220. Beka says:

Unfortunately my family is the family in need this Christmas season as my husband has been out of work. Luckily he did just get a job but doesn’t start in time for the holiday season. I would be honored to receive such help this Christmas and would be ever so grateful.

  222. Chrissy says:

They have lost 6 people this year in their family & her husband is disabled and now she is taking care of him & her dad who is in remission from Cancer but his Kidneys are now failing. They have 2 really great kids who are in need of CLOTHES more than toys.

Its a struggle to keep the necessities much less get anything extra or just for fun.

  223. DONNA NEILSON says:

This would be amazing for my Brother Brian’s family. He is 40, his wife is 37 and they have 3 children, Luke age 2, Katelynn age 3, and Devin age 6. I’m there aunt and I’m confined to a wheelchair, I was born with Muscular Dystrophy. We’ve had a rough year, in May Brian got laid off from his job that he’s been at for 15 years and hasn’t found any thing permanent. It has been a struggle to keep food on the table. It’s killing Brian, he’s a hard worker but there’s no jobs with insurance. Devin is ADDHD and the medicine is expensive. My and Brian’s Daddy passed away this past September, he lost a battle with Cancer. Brian and Devin are not handling it very well. Devin told me he don’t wont Santa to bring Toys, Just bring Papa back. If I won this for them it would be an amazing miracle for me and them

  224. Jodi says:

The family I want to nominate has 6 people. The mom who lives with her boyfiend in his house with her 4 kids. The father of the kids walked out on them when she was pregnant with the baby who is now five. Her boyfriend came into her life and has helped so much with the kids as far as being the father figure they need in their life. the baby doesnt even know who her real father is and they all call her new boyfriend dad. They struggle to pay bills because she doesnt make much and has bills to pay plus he has bills from before they got together along with bills they have now from the electric with this many in a house you can only imagine how much it is, to the water which is the same way. They just dont have much after they are finished paying all the bills. The kids really need some clothes as they are growing out of them faster than she can afford more.

  225. Mom had 6th baby 3 months ago so is not working, dad lost job 1 month ago. Now they are separated. What she needs are gifts for the kids. There are 5 boys around 17 yrs, 15, 13, 7 and the baby. A girl – 51/2 yr’s. old. They are a wonderful family and she’s tried so hard to support the kids under difficult circumstances. Now dad decides he doesn’t believe in Christmas so he won’t help. They live with her mom and step-dad so they have food and shelter and will receive gifts from family. It’s just the gifts that would make it a nice holiday. This is such a nice thing you are doing. Thank You.

  226. Tammy Bliss says:

Living on one income and now that my boyfriend is lay off we are not really going to have a Christmas as we cannot afford much for our baby boy who is four months old. We are trying our hardest to be able to get things under the tree for him. If we arent able to get that then he wull still have his mommy and daddys love. Our last names are Bliss/Miller.

  227. Megan Naramore Harris says:

Our family we are nominating is a divorced mom, 33, diagnosed with Breast cancer. Her husband has not provided child support in 4 years. She had to move home with her mother since she could no longer work. Her mother lost her job as well. Times have been tough for the two little ones, a boy 6 and a girl, 10. It would mean a lot to put Christmas under their tree.
